Unlike other brand's filters which are made only of one hydrophilic membrane layer, the inline filters from us come with an ABS shell, which houses one or double-layer hydrophilic PES membrane(s) as well as minimum one PTFE venting membrane. This unique design ensures that undissolved drug particles, precipitates, bacteria, endotoxins, fragments of glass, plastic, or rubber, as well as large lipids in the intravenous drug solutions, are effectively retained by the filter membranes. Additionally, the venting filter membrane - hydrophobic PTFE helps to immediately remove the air bubbles from aqueous solutions inline or downstream in a fluidic system.
